Armed with massive turbo-lasers and planetary bombardment systems, Pellaeon-class Star Destroyers also carry wings of fighter squadrons, stormtroopers for rapid deployment throughout the galaxy, and companies of assault vehicles. It is unknown the number in service or whom actually commands these vessels. Like its predecessors, this Star Destroyer is the mainstay of the Imperial fleets. This Star Destroyer has only been seen twice and only in singular units without similar ships of design. The Pellaeon-class was named in honor of former Imperial Grand Admiral Gilad Pellaeon, and drew upon the distinctive and classic wedge-shape of earlier times, made famous by the Venator and Imperial I classes used by the navies of the Galactic Republic and the Galactic Empire respectively.

A unknown and relatively unseen Star destroyer what is being called the Pellaeon-class by intelligence agency circles not only has a sizable armament, several unknown starfighter models that sport superior performance, and sizable in length, but also has the ability to cloak itself, has sensor-reducing armor, and has it's own interdiction field generator. The Executor-class Star Dreadnought, colloquially known as the Executor-class Super Star Destroyer or Executor-class Star Destroyer, was a heavy warship class in the Star Dreadnought league, often used as command ships and flagships in the Imperial Navy.
